About Funk House Backpackers

Located in the heart & soul of Sydney, the Funk House is a unique, upbeat hostel famous for it`s friendly social atmosphere and funky murals. With only 3-4 beds per dorm you can book a room with your mates. All our doubles and twins have TVs, fridges, fans & doonas. All dorm rooms have fans. We have an in-house "entertainment manager" who organises a full week of activities for all our guests. Most nights we have FREE drinks at various bars. How To Get There

From the airport we will arrange a pick up for you: *When your flight lands and you have your bags, call us on 1800 247 600. *We will direct you to the meeting point for the shuttle bus. *On arrival at the Funkhouse you will have to pay $3 to reception for the transfer. From Central station you should use the train to get to us - it is the fastest way!! *Get a ticket for Kings Cross = $2.20 *Go to platform 24 to take the train *Get off the train at KINGS CROSS station, its the 3rd stop and takes only 9 minutes. *When you exit the train station, Turn left.
