About Global Palace

Global Palace was refurbished from a cinema that was built in the early 1900`s. The designers took great care to design a functional and practical building without sacrificing any of the comforts of home. The designers and operators under-stand that a hostel is a home away from home and that there is more to your comfort than just a cheap bed, it`s the whole package that makes your stay in cairns an enjoyable experience for you to remember for years to come. We have spacious recreation areas, large kitchen and dinning areas, roof top pool & sundeck, large and private shower facilities, and tropical balconies for you to soak up the tropics as you are meant too. The staff at the Global are local experienced people with a wealth of knowledge of Cairns and surrounding areas as well as Australia.
