Close to the train station and only minutes from a number of bars and restaurants Sydney Central Backpackers is a fun hostel with a laid back atmosphere. We’re a fun and friendly hostel located in one of Sydney's most vibrant neighbourhoods. Just a short walk from our doorstep is Sydney’s famous Opera House and Harbour Bridge, but if you don’t feel like walking you can enjoy the Australian sun by having a BBQ in our rooftop garden. Each night of the week we take a group of people from our hostel out to one of the local bars or clubs where there are arranged bar tabs and discounted drinks. So if your looking to see what Sydney has to offer and meet a few new people at the same time, our hostel is a great place to start!

How To Get There

If arriving from the airport just give us a quick call to use our free pick-up service and our mini-bus driver will deliver you to our doorstep. If arriving by bus at Central Station hop on the CityRail Blue Line which heads towards Bondi Junction. Get off at the Kings Cross station. Exit via Darlinghurst Rd. Turn left when you come out of the station and follow Darlinghurst Rd. until you hit Orwell St. We are halfway down Orwell St. on the right.
