	Yosemite National Park embraces a spectacular tract of mountain-and-valley scenery in the Sierra Nevada, which was set aside as a national park in 1890. The park harbours a grand collection of waterfalls, meadows, and forests that include groves of giant sequoias, the world`s largest living things. Most of the park`s famous sites, including Half Dome, El Capitan, Yosemite Falls and Bridal Veil Falls are located in Yosemite Valley where your day trip begins with an hour and a half guided tour. In the afternoon you will have the opportunity to explore some of the other (less crowded) parts of the park such as the giant sequoias in Mariposa Grove, the stunning views of Yosemite Valley from Glacier Point or large fields of Tuolumne Meadows, surrounded by mountain peaks on all sides. Yosemite is breathtaking any time of the year, with each season bringing its own highlights. The specific itinery of each day trip depends upon the weather and time of year. The tour will pick you up from the hostel between 6:30 and 6:45am and will return around 9pm. Due to traffice and the sightseeing opportunities offered by different seasons, the return time can vary slightly. Guests should be prepared to buy lunch or should pack their own.
